James Franco in RELEASE

This is a film about my younger brother’s struggle with drug addiction. SOLITARY follows him in the first few days after he gets out of jail and adjusts to life at home with his young daughters and the rest of our family. RELEASE is a fictional dream in which my real dad, actor Holmes Osborne, takes his son, played by James Franco, deep into the woods for homegrown detox. It’s an honest glimpse into the complexities of drug addiction and the lives it effects. -Holden Abigail
